Parish News: July 19, 2011

As summertime draws on and the temperatures continue to rise, it is easy to look outside at our yards and tell how desperately water is needed to support life. While this is a fundamental biological truth, it is also an essential spiritual truth. Each of us is born with a need for the water that brings eternal life, something to quench the thirst of our souls, to relieve the parching burden of sin and death. If the heat has you down, perhaps this is a time to use the prevailing weather to remind you of the essential nature of regularlly drinking from the waters of life.

Summer vacations come and go, but our worship of God continues. For the remainder of the summer we will continue to meet at the pastor's residence as we build up our funds for a planned move this fall to a new location.

We are also looking forward to resuming our classes on the Liturgy this weekend (Sunday, July 24th) immediately after our worship and fellowship time. Please join us!
